Rules and policies

Attendance and absences

Students must attend school regularly so they can achieve their educational best and increase their career and life options.

In NSW, all children from the age of 6 are legally required to attend school or be registered for home schooling through the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). All students must complete Year 10, or its equivalent and remain in school, employment or training until they turn 17.

Kinder transition information

2023 Kindergarten transistion

Please find attached information regarding the upcoming Kindergarten 2019 transition and orientation program.

You are welcome to phone the office, 4362 1033 or email Ourimbah-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au and request an enrolment form for your child starting Kindergarten in 2019.

Medical forms

Prescribed medication

The Department of Education's Prescribed Medication Policy only allows the administration of medicines which have been prescribed by a doctor. Forms must be completed by parents before any medication can be given to students. 

Please note - Over the counter medications such as Panadol and Nurofen CANNOT be administered at any time unless they have a prescribed medication sticker attached and the relevant forms completed.

Allergy awareness

You can support students with our 'No Nut Strategy' by becoming aware and reading the Allergy Awareness (PDF 125KB) document.

Parent transport form

Parents who are transporting students to sporting venues or excursions must fill in the attached form with licence and comprehensive car insurance details and return it to the school office for filing. This form can also be obtained from the school office.
